Technical writing
Quoin was a technical writing agency, and my first real technical writing job.
They sent me out on lots of short-term contracts, including clients such as State Bank of South Australia, SA Gas Company, WorkCover Corporation, CSIRO, Submarine Corporation.
Although I specialised in software manuals, I also wrote many policy and procedure manuals, job aids, and designed interactive computer-based training.
We used those tote those little monolith Macs about to each job in these huge padded shoulder bags.

That was when I learned how to draw and paint on a computer. I loved those Macs.
